July 22 - Sun Moves into Leo

Sun moves into its ruling sign of Leo today joining Mars. Two strong willed, dynamic, and independent planets in the prideful and creative sign of the King. What we need to watch out for are ego conflicts, selfishness, creating unnecessary drama, and unhealthy attention seeking behavior. What we can embrace is a return of generosity, playfulness, children and our inner child, creativity, ambition, self-love, passion, and romanticism. Yes all the juicy and positive aspects of Leo can be channeled if we stay mindful of our own ego and keep in check unhealthy behavior that’s fueled from a need for attention and validation. It’s ok to be wanted, desired, passionate, noticed and loved. These are all great and healthy in fact! However, the ways in which we ask for, or behave, in order to have these desires met is what become problematic. Say you’re sorry when you’ve done something out of integrity. I know this can be difficult for you Leo, but a sincere apology goes a long way! Sincere being the key word here. We’ll have lots of time to practice this and lots of time to play as well, because by the end of July there will be 4 planets, Sun, Venus, Mars and the Moon, in Leo when the Leo New Moon hits, and by Mid-August Mercury will be joining them all! Create, Play, Love, Laugh, and be Humble!
