Venus moves out of her home sign of Libra where she’s been happily nested for almost 4 weeks. In Scorpio, she’s in her detriment. We now have the two main relationship planets, Mars and Venus, in the signs of their detriment until Venus moves into Sag on November 1st. With Venus in Scorpio she’s intense, rageful, jealous, obsessive, and dramatic. She’s also magnetic, sexy, and seductive. She’s the perfect storm that’s both deadly and fascinating. She’s the deepest mystery that is both feared and obsessed about. She is the wounded soul whose learned about her power and strength by overcoming some of the most abusive situations, often connected to sexuality. With Venus in Scorpio we get a deeper look at the dark underbelly of sex and the power dynamics that arise in pursuit of it, lies, betrayal, manipulation.
We also get to look at they ways in which we fear yet desire intimacy and connection. The love that’s experienced with Venus in Scorpio is all consuming. Boundaries between self and other disappear and we merge together and into the divine mystery itself through deep connection. So for the next 4 weeks while she takes up residence in Scorpio, we have time to explore all these themes.
