Saturn has been Retrograde since April 29 @ 20 Degrees Capricorn and is now turning Direct after 4+months. While Saturn has been retrograde, we’ve come face to face with some karmic truths, and this is especially true for Saturn Ruled Sun and Rising Capricorns. These truths may have arisen in the areas of responsibility, family, work, and around our fears, feelings of abandonment, feeling stuck, limited, unmotivated, unsuccessful, unseen, or unaccomplished.
With the Eclipses and Cancer Oppositions that happened over the Summer, these themes were amplified. Some of us may have experienced loss, a new level of maturity, and insight into our work/family balance. We’ve hopefully addressed any issues that have come up, and cleared the karma. Saturn makes things uncomfortable until we’ve mastered the lesson. And hopefully we’ve mastered some part of the lesson during this Retrograde.
With Saturn now going Direct, it will feel like a weight has been lifted. It may take some time to feel this, as Saturn is slow to pick up speed. But we’ll get that skip back in our step, and feel ready, motivated and confident to launch our newly formed self out into the world. The more and more we clear up our karma, the more freedom we have within ourself and how we relate to the world outside of us. This pressure cooker of a summer, with Saturn Retrograde included, has forced us to level up in some way. The path may have not been clear during the chaos, but now we will start to see some structure and organization being built from the remains. And we get to recreate ourselves in the process!
