XV. The Devil

The journey from the Devil to The World, we learn about the Law of Detachment and the challenges that arise from our need to control.

The sixteenth key in the Major Arcana is the Devil, met by the Fool after discovering her newfound spirituality. The Devil asks that she relinquish the remaining pieces of her human, animalistic desires. The Devil is the embodiment of duality, the state of separation from Source; the opposite of being in our higher nature of unity consciousness.

No one can “make” me act out of my character.

I will see everyone that I meet as who they are.
I act in my own power.

XV. The Devil

When we act in alignment with our true self, we are on the correct path and obstacles are diminished. If we allow ourselves to become confused by adjusting to others’ belief systems, we can act in their own best interest, and from insecurity; which can cause friction and fear.
