Welcome to Cancer season. During Cancer season, we reflect on the information we learned during Gemini season. Cancer, ruled by the Mother Moon/Luna, she teaches us to reflect, and internalize the information we’ve gathered. How do we feel? What does - all this - mean, to me? Cancer, is the life flowing waters: oceans, streams, rivers; and like these waters, this flowing energy, we process our own internal flowing water/emotions. Like the ocean, the tides that roll in and out; our emotions comes in waves. We are asked to ride these waves of emotions, to allow.
During Cancer season, we focus on the four elements that we have cultivated. We became aware (Aries/Fire), then aware of our physical body (Taurus/Earth), then aware of our mind (Gemini/Air), and now we develop a deeper awareness of our emotional body (Cancer/Water). It during Cancer season, we learn to create an emotional container, a happy home, for manifesting - aligning all of the elements.
Where the union of Aries (Mars/masculine) and Taurus (Venus/feminine) came together in Gemini (Mercury/union); it is during Cancer season we are taught the importance of creating an emotional and secure container/home. In this Cancer home, we harness the right emotional vibration, in order to birth our manifestation. Cancer, and Mother Moon, gifts us lessons to increase our capacity to nurture, create safe and emotional spaces, and learn to see ourselves and the world around us with awareness and compassion.
During Cancer season, we gently and lovingly surrender to the truth of what is and allow the mystery to unfold and guide us forward. Cancer is the Queen of the zodiac, the mother who gently nurtures us, and guides us in creating a safe space. Cancer is our Universal Mother, gifting us the energetic support and lessons to improve and heal our family dynamics.

Summer Solstice & The celebration of Light (Northern Hemisphere)
On the Solstice, we honor and celebrate light. During the Spring, the light of Sol ascends, reaching up towards the North Star (Spirit/Heaven/Divinity). During the Summer Solstice, he reaches the cosmic gateway and begins to turn, gifting us the longest day of light. And then turns, starting his course of “light descending”. Light descending to earth, is light descending into matter; giving this light physical form (incarnation of Spirit, entering into the womb, to take form).During Cancer season, we are gifted the opportunity to rebirth our emotional body. The planetary ruler of Cancer is Luna/Mother Moon. Like the moon, the female body has a natural rhythm that is often in sync with the moon (known as menstruation, moon cycles, etc.) As we pass through the gateway of the Summer Solstice, it is the gateway of incarnation. The Solstice is a time to reflect on where we came from and reflect on our Mothers, childhood, Spirit, and Source. A time to connect with our true identity, to connect deeper with our emotional body and Soul. Can we heal the parts of ourselves that cling onto memories and emotions that have taken hold of us - that separates us from feeling and resting into our body, emotional body and Spirit?
The Cancer Eclipse welcomes us to rebirth, and to reorient ourselves. No longer running away, instead brings us back home. Back into our bodies, and the place where we feel most as our true self. We are gifted this season to re-discover and remember who we are. We seek what truly nourishes us, no longer seeking distractions that keep us separate from our emotions, Spirit, and Self.

Cancer Season Light & Shadow
Un-evolved Cancer energy can be co-dependent, oversensitive, place blame, complain, and be prone to victim mentality. Be mindful of lingering in the energies of Cancer’s Shadow. Without a connection to Spirit, un-evolved Cancer energy can be emotional manipulative, passive aggressive, over-protection (overprotection where one does not share knowledge or life skills necessary for others “to do for them selves.” At the high end, evolved Cancer energy is the ultimate mother figure; giving care and nurturance while maintaining healthy boundaries while maintaining self-care.

Connect with the Moon. Each Season offers unique days to align with the energies of the blessings and lessons. During Cancer Season, you align yourself with the energies of Luna (Monday), the planetary ruler of Cancer.
Sage your Home, Bedroom, Chariot & Office. Energetically cleanse the energetic wombs of your life, where you find yourself “creating”.
Set Intentions. You can set intentions for Cancer Season during the Cancer New Moon, or working with Luna (on Mondays).
Observe. Select a journal, and every Monday, record your dreams, thoughts, experiences and observations.

Have Patience. Have patience with yourself and the journey you’re embarking. Cancer Season is one of the most emotional seasons to work with. Allow yourself the emotional space to process, release, learn, develop and heal.
