I. The Magician

The first seven cards in the Major Arcana depict ones fundamental level of development; the earliest stages of self- awareness, our first relationships with others, and our initial attempts at self mastery.

The Magician is the first key of the Major Arcana. As you move from The Fool to The Magician, you become more aware. 

The Magician is the master of the elements, showing tools necessary for creation, or the process of transmuting that which resides in our minds and intentions into material reality. The arrangement of these elements on the card reveals the path to manifestation: swords (i.e., thoughts), cups (i.e., emotion), wands (i.e., Spirit and action), coins (i.e., physical manifestation), which are translated into intention, feeling, spiritual correctness and action, and physical effort, respectively. This magickal combination is what is necessary to herald thought into the physical form; in other words, manifesting.

I am powerful in so many ways.

My power is in my education, skills and network.

I have all resources available to me at my fingertips.

I have all that is required to be successful.
