II. The High Priestess

The first seven cards in the Major Arcana depict ones fundamental level of development; the earliest stages of self- awareness, our first relationships with others, and our initial attempts at self mastery.

The High Priestess is the second key in the major arcana, representing duality and sacred wisdom; she is Luna in all of her phases. As the Magician represents the outward male energy, the High Priestess is the inner, feminine half. She is a student of mythology, mystery, feminine wisdom, art, and the subconscious.

The High Priestess guards the doorway to your intuition, sitting poised on a crescent moon, representing knowledge before action. She is the Universal Mother, giving you the energetic support and lessons to improve, heal, and unlock your emotional and karmic blockages. Through channeling her energy, Luna will guide you in deepening your capacity for reading subtle nuances and developing your intuitive gut feelings.

II The High Priestess

Your intuition and inner compass is your greatest teacher. Your main improvement goal should be to become the better version of yourself. This way you can clearly see what can be improved without trying to change the things that are out of your control.
